Thanksgiving

Talk to anyone and they will tell you, they are busy, they are stressed, they are lost in the hustle and bustle of the world today. The Lines I hear all the time in class, in the hallways, pretty much everywhere . . . "I hate my life." "I'm so stressed." "I can't go to college, I just want to be rich and never have to worry about anything again." etc, etc, etc . . . . Let's Slow Down, Realize All that is Great in your life. What are you thankful for (What is great about your life -- Believe me there are more than you realize?)?

  1. I'm Thankful for my wonderful wife, my 2 beautiful daughters, the chance to work with future doctors, lawyers, nurses, teachers, presidents, chemists, researchers, psychologists, congressmen, chefs, and whatever other careers and achievements you will earn throughout your lives, and the chance to coach student-athletes that want to grow as people and represent the great K-ville community. There is more, but I'd hate to bore you.

  3. I am thankful that I'm alive, healthy and breathing.. along with everyone in my family. I am thankful for this pot roast that I am about to eat.. well, I'm just thankful that I have food in general. I am thankful that I have the opportunity to go to college to become successful, unlike people in other countries or even in the U.S. I'm thankful for Google and the thesaurus.. I think I would be using the same words in my essays if I didn't have that. Well, I'm doing being thankful.

  4. I am thankful for so much in my life: My past for teaching me right from wrong, my present for allowing me to see all the beauty in the world, and my future for carrying so many opportunities for me and for holding hope. I am thankful for my friends, family, and boyfriend. I am thankful for my dad who has given the past 20 years of his life in a job he absolutely despises to support this family. I wouldn't be able to be where I am today if it wasn't for him. I am also thankful for his new job in Wyoming. He deserves to be happy for once. I am thankful for my mother gaining some of her health back, and for my health. I am thankful for the sunshine, the snow, skiing, the beach, green grass, tall mountains, and fields of wildflowers. I am thankful for my ability to walk, play, skip, jump, run, and laugh. I am thankful for my gift to smile through it all, and for others to smile with me. Lastly, I am thankful for love. It is what unifies us as a people.

  10. This past month has been rough for my family, due to the passing of my Grandpa Harvey. Even though we all were very upset that he had passed, we all came together and supported each other. I am thankful to have such caring people, who are willing to step up and comfort me, in my life. I am also thankful for my parents (even though I get annoyed with them a lot). They have helped me figure out what college I should go to, and supported my final decision. Without people like this is my life, I wouldn't know what to do.

I'm thankful for my baby cousin because shes such a great addition to our family and she made us all happier. I'm thankful for my true friends because those are hard to find nowadays, and I'm also thankful for my bf because he is also my best friend.
